Goodbye A Hairy Tail

This week I released A Hairy Tail 4 and it is the last in the series. Sob sob.

When I first wrote A Hairy Tail 1, I didn’t expect it to be a series. It was a nice little story that I wanted to share and I was done with it. I published it and moved on, not really having high hopes.

However, as the emails and messages came flooding in, I was somehow convinced to continue on with Hannah, Harry, and their four legged friends. Something about them had touched your hearts which touched my heart. They were a cute bunch and I was sure they had more of their story they could share with me.

A Hairy Tail 4 was difficult to end. Partly because I was sad to say goodbye to them, but partly because I wanted to make sure all my readers got a satisfying ending. I wanted to do Hannah and Harry justice for them and for you.

Don't be sad

At the end of A Hairy Tail 4, you will also find something I really wanted to include. I’m not going to give it away, you’ll have to read it for yourself. But it was something that was close to my heart and the reason why I started writing the series.

So as I say goodbye to the Mapleton Animal Shelter gang, I want to thank each and every one of you who read the series. And a special thanks to everyone who reviewed it, sent me a message, or took in the true meaning of the books. To celebrate, why don’t you volunteer your time or adopt a rescue animal? Just saying, that would be kind of cool.

In the back of my mind, I’m already planning my next series. I’m toying with the idea of checking in with Hannah three years on. She’ll be twenty then, what will she be like? Hmm, maybe, maybe not. What do you think?
